Los Thinos y Pepe Garay

José Manuel Garay Vallenas fue fundador y director de Los Thinos, es el músico más querido y requerido de esta cálida tierra. Es un zurdo extraño, pues toca la guitarra al revés y sin cambiar el orden de las cuerdas, tiene una hermosa voz, pero sobre todo un alma de poeta que lo ha impulsado a escribir las canciones más emblemáticas de Abancay.

Fundo el grupo en 1969, junto con Oscar Pinto Llerena y Jorge Vargas León. Para festejar los cien años del Glorioso Colegio Miguel Grau, el grupo se recompuso, reemplazando Juan Morales Córdova a Oscar Llerena.

Agua Viva y Fredy Daza

Fredy Daza el más carismático y bonachon de lo músicos abanquinos, es el fundador y director de Agua Viva, grupo músical con más de 30 años de trayectoria, que originalmente estuvo compuesto por Marcos Hermoza y Darcy Román, entre otros. Sus interpretaciones siempre están presentes en cuanta reunión de abanquinos haya por el mundo entero.

Ramiro Bueno Quino

Ramiro, el simpático y popular «Chino», actualmente Regidor de la Municipalidad provincial, es un cantautor reconocido, dueño de una gran y melodiosa voz.

Los hermanos Bruce y Gino Trujillo han traido aires de modernidad a la música tradicional abanquina y estan innovando con nuevas composiciones.
